Adding a carrot smoothie recipe or two to your morning menu is the same as looking into the mirror and saying I love you!!! I mean, if there was ever a plant that was on our side it’s got to be carrots right? Right? Come on.

Look at it this way.. if those little orange fellas didn’t want to give us great eyesight then why would they stack up on beta-carotene? Oh? You think so? Well, you could be right. Carotenoids are known for their anti-oxidant properties so it’s quite possible carrots just want to keep us looking radiant-glowing brilliantly. But maybe, long ago, they foresaw how much of a problem cancer would become to us and decided to give us a little hand.

Haha, hopefully, I did a good job of explaining some of the pretty cool benefits of carrots to you above without boring you too much. Well maybe you’re just here to tease your taste buds a bit so go ahead and satisfy your thirst with this refreshing carrot smoothie.

Pineapple and carrot smoothie recipe

  • 1 cup frozen pineapples
  • 1/2 cup carrots
  • 1/2 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
  • one fully ripe banana

Well, you know how this part goes right? Place your ingredients into a high-speed blender and blend to your desired consistency.

So what did you think? Was it good? Yeah, I think so too and the good thing about carrots is that they combine so well with so many fruits so we can always find new ideas for smoothies, kinda like this one:

Carrot and Ginger Smoothie

  • 2 oranges (peeled)
  • 4 carrots (chopped)
  • 1/2 inch of ginger
  • 1/2 of an apple

Here we go. Just add your oranges to the blender and a tip of water to get it going. When it’s all juicy add your ginger carrots and apple then blend until it’s all smooth.

For me, the ginger here is to give my immune system a little bit more “sickness fighting swag” you know. I find that ginger helps me to fight off that oncoming cold and it gets my blood flowing. Oranges and apples (especially that apple) act as sweeteners so no need for processed sugar…seriously no sugar!!!

Hey, so you have been really awesome so far so I’m going leave you with one more cool smoothie to try but before that a little tip…. always buy organic!!! Man-made chemicals should be nowhere near your food or your body… be good to yourself.

Now then:

Mango Carrot Smoothie

  • 2 mangoes
  • 2 cups of lettuce
  • 5 carrots
  • 1/2 cups of water

Add your ingredients to your blender and blend (with love) to desired consistency or until smooth.

P.s. the lettuce is just here to give you some more nutrients you see. This will go well with all the nutrients already in the carrots like vitamin C, B3, B6, E and K, minerals such as iron, magnesium, phosphorus, calcium, molybdenum and potassium.

Satisfied? I knew you would be. I especially liked this last carrot smoothie recipe and I hope you did too. By the way, you could save your friends a trip or two to the eye doctor by sharing this page with them.
